    Personal Finance is a full year course with a focus on the knowledge and skills required to manage financial resources for a lifetime of financial well-being. The emphasis will be on the ability to manage personal finance matters in an effective manner, which will help students prepare for their post-secondary lives after graduation. The course covers all of the essential personal finance topics necessary to become a financially capable student. Included in this course is the knowledge of making appropriate decisions about personal finance such as investing, insurance, real estate, budgeting, banking, credit, paying for college, retirement, spending, career planning, and consumer knowledge.
