Assessments:Assessments consists of tests, quizzes, and projects. Students will be tested at the end of every unit and will receive weekly quizzes to keep track of their progress. Tests will be announced at least one week in advance. All work must be shown in order to receive full credit. Projects will be given throughout the year for various topics. These are meant to enhance your understanding of Geometry/Algebra concepts and demonstrate their applications in the real world.
Homework
Students are expected to complete all homework assignments in a timely fashion. Students will have an opportunity to make up missing or late assignments. No extra credit work will be assigned until students complete necessary work for regular course credit and master standards.
Classwork
Students are expected to attend/login to class prepared with the necessary assignments completed and ready to discuss in class! Participation is a vital part of influencing students grades, and students should expect to come prepared to every class session with the necessary materials, and a willingness to learn and actively contribute.
All grades are posted in Infinite Campus. It is recommended for you to have an Infinite Campus Campus Portal account, in order to monitor your son/daughter's progress.
