English 9
-
I have been in education for 38 years and have been at PeekskillHigh School for 33 years.
In English 9 this year, we will be concentrating on preparing students for the rigors of high school through literature, vocaulary, and writing. We will read works, such as THE ODYSSEY and ROMEO AND JULIET, that connect to the students' Global History I class and complete some interdisciplinary projects to help students make connections between literature and history.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at the school number- 737-0201- or via e-mail at kdwyer@peekskillschools.org. Thanks in advance for your support. Working together will help the school year to be a successful one for all of us.
