Welcome to sixth grade Social Studies! Thank you in advance for taking the time to view my page. This is my 29th year teaching in Peekskill. I taught 1st, 3rd, 4th, 5th, and now 6th grade Social Studies. I must say serving a community that helped shape and mold me is a pleasure and an honor. In Social Studies, I enjoy facilitating learning while exploring our past as well as predicting the future. Making this subject become relevant, develop the ability to access information, and developing critical thinkers are just a few of my goals. I received three degrees; a Bachelor in Liberal Arts from the College of New Rochelle, an M.S. in Special Education from Mt. St. Mary's College, and a Professional Diploma in School
District Leadership from SUNY New Paltz.
