PHYSICAL EDUCATION
Welcome to the Physical Education Class Page!! We are excited for a new school year. It is our goal to create an environment of safety, security, fun, and success for every student who comes to PKMS. The curriculum crosses many spectrums in the world of Physical Education including traditional sports (basketball, soccer, football, volleyball, etc.), aquatics, Project Adventure, dance, and CPR. Students will be exposed to a wide variety of activities in order to foster a well rounded student that has respect for many different forms of physical activity. Besides the physical component to the class, we promote a healthy environment by emphasizing sportsmanship and positive interactions between classmates. Students will have an opportunity to work in groups and partake in problem solving activities, specifically during our Project Adventure lessons. The PE Department also serves as a bridge between school and interscholastic athletics. Should you ever have questions regarding the sport teams offered at the middle school please do not hesitate to contact any of us.We are looking forward to a great year! Be sure to check out our Physical Education Photo Gallery on this webpage.
