    Welcome to the Hillcrest Band Program! 

     

    Welcome to all the band students!  

    All band students are expected to attend a small group lesson once a week, as well as a large ensemble rehearsal once a week. These will be held during the school day on the same day and time each week. 

    Every student is expected to practice at home at least 4 times a week for 20 minutes or more. Practice time should be written on the practice log each week. Practicing is necessary for a musician to progress on their instrument and develop their skills.

     

    CONCERTS

    There will be 2 concerts this year.

    Concert attire is black bottoms, plain white tops, and dark shoes. There should not be any design or pattern of any sort on the clothing.  

     

    Mrs. Lester will be using Class Dojo to communicate with parents easily.
