CONGRATULATIONS!

Welcome to the wonderful world of instrumental music!  There will be many ups and downs, but definitely more ups.  Expect to hear strange sounds during the first 2 months of your child's playing experience.  After that, you will begin to recognize the pieces of music your child is practicing. YES, they should be practicing at least 4 days a week for about 20 minutes each day.

CONCERTS

There will be 2–3 concerts in which all the students are expected to perform. 

Concert attire is black bottoms, plain white tops, and dark shoes.

Please join Class Dojo.  I will use this to communicate with you about lessons and other band-related information. 

If you are thinking about purchasing your own instrument, please let me know.  I will help you find a quality instrument at a reasonable price.  Buying an instrument is like buying a new car...you want to make sure you don't need to send it out for repairs a lot.
