    Health & Wellness Resources

    • Talk about Your Feelings. Students can share with us how they are feeling...click the link to tell us what “Zone” you are in and what tools you are `using to cope with stress! This is a fun survey activity that is being monitored by our elementary school counselors.  My Zones Check In 

    • Keeping a Routine at Home is Important. See below for a sample daily schedule you can hang on the fridge for young children or make a checklist for your older child to do work and activities at their own pace.

    • Be Positive. The COVID 19 outbreak is a national crisis and impacts every family in different ways. During this difficult time, try to find the positives and count your blessings. There is always something, no matter how small, to be grateful for. 

    • Have Fun with Yoga! Click the link for a yoga video with the Disney Theme Song Frozen

    • Go for Walk. Stop and look at the flowers that are starting to bloom and the beautiful scenery of the Hudson Valley.

    • Play a Game. Sit around the table or go outside in safe space and play a game that is good for all ages.  

    • Movie Night. Spend time together as a family; it is important not to isolate or be alone.

    • Limit the News. During this time, avoid excess exposure to the news; be aware if your children are watching world events on TV. 

    • Call the School. We are here to help! If you have questions, concerns we are just a phone call or click away.

    The NYP COVID Hotline 646-697-4000 has been created to answer questions about COVID-19.We have also developed the Coronavirus Frequently Asked Questions document linked to below, available in multiple languages. You can also visit the NYP Coronavirus webpage.

    NewYork-Presbyterian’s Virtual Urgent Care is available for people who are not feeling well and have non-life-threatening symptoms such as fever, cough, upset stomach, or nausea. This is an online, telehealth service. To visit the Virtual Urgent Care, click here.   

    Some NewYork-Presbyterian practices may be offering online, video-based Virtual Visits with a physician to support social distancing efforts. For more information on virtual visits, please click here.  Patients are encouraged to reschedule well-visits for later dates.

    Urgent and emergency surgeries and procedures at NewYork-Presbyterian are continuing. However, elective procedures and surgeries are postponed beginning Monday, March 16, 2020. You can see that full message here
