• The Field Library, located several blocks from the Hudson River at 4 Nelson Avenue, is Peekskill's major information resource.
     
    A public library serving a population of approximately 23,500 Peekskill residents and 35,000 Town of Cortlandt residents. The Field Library offers free programs, events, and classes for all ages, as well as tons of books, magazines, newspapers, DVDs, eBooks, audiobooks, music CDs, and even Nooks to check out.     COVID-19 Services from The Field Library:

    During this extraordinary time, The Field Library is committed to providing library services while they are closed and will be allowing patrons to apply for library cards online. The card will allow you to access their online resources such as ebooks, streaming video and music, online tutoring and more.

    If you do not have a library card and would like one, apply online at: https://catalog.westchesterlibraries.org/eg/opac/login.

    You can also email the Library directly at pek@wlsmail.org to request a card.  

    Click Request Library Card, fill out the online form and a card will be sent to you within a week. Cards will expire on April 30th after which you may renew it with proof of address.
