- Running/Fitness: In this unit students will be able to develop their aerobic capacity through a series of running drill and will also participate in a variety of activities that promote life long fitness and wellness.
- Football: Students will be introduce to some of the basics elements of Football, including ball grip, passing, catching and running patterns. Students will also get familiar with common Football terminology like interception, end zone, running routes, as well working collaboratively to game strategies.
- Soccer: This unit will cover basic game skills like dribbling, passing, trapping and throw in. The lessons will emphasize the importance of team work and will also integrate other subjects like math and geography.
- Team Building Games: Throughout the year students will participate in a variety of games designed to maximize physical activity and stimulate brain activity. All games will contain verbal cues, movement strategies and breathing instructions.
- Floor Hockey: This unit focuses on skill development and general knowledge needed to participate in the game of Floor Hockey, with additional focus on strategy and team work.
- Gymnastics: In this unit students will be introduced to a wide variety of Gymnastics skills, including locomotor and non-locomotor activities. The unit will also focus on developing student's coordination, balance, agility and spatial awareness.
- Basketball: In this unit students will acquire a general knowledge of the game of Basketball and develop basic skill necessary to play the game. This skills include offensive and defensive skills such ass dibbling, passing, shooting, jump shot, lay ups and more.
- Speedball: This game combines Soccer, Basketball and Handball therefore, students will be able to practice several skills, including dribbling, throwing, passing and shooting. Additionally, students will demonstrate team work and sportsmanship.
- Ultimate Frisbee: Ultimate Frisbee is a fun, dynamic sport in which students will learn specific rules, as well as the proper passing and catching techniques, including the Pacman catch, Pancake Catch and Thumb up Catch.
