    Students will be given homework, online Monday thru Fridays.  Every night students are responsible to read for at least 30 minutes. 
    Math homework will consist of nightly Xtramath practice. This is an online practice of the basic math facts beginning with addition.  Students are required to log on and practice the facts five times a week.  In order to move to the next operation, students must first master addition.  The program allows teacher and parent to keep track of their student's progress.  Xtramath is in addition to the nightly homework that will be assigned in class.  Math homework will cover the concepts that have been taught in class. Assignments will be posted in our Google Classroom.
     
    GOOGLE CLASSROOM!!!!  
     This year our class will be using Google Classroom to complete homework assignments, and do research.  Google Classroom will require that students log into our class on the computer in order to complete assignments.  Please allow your student access to the computer when needed. Access can be gained from laptops, desktops, tablets, and phones.  The assignments given on Google Classroom are not optional, and do count towards homework and classwork grades.
    Xtramath will be accessible through Google Classroom.
