Dear Boys and Girls!

I am going to miss you.  We missed some memory making moments together this year.  I am working on a flip grid to post for tomorrow (Friday).  I want you to add your video.  

We are in our 2nd to last days of activities.  There is a very special activity on the slides today.  One activity that I really hope that you take your time to do it- The Memory Book.  It's ok if you need additional time to do it.  Google Classroom will be still up for you to go back and practice through the summer.

Zearn might be open for continuing forward to prepare you for 4th grade- but not for review.  I encourage you to practice your math facts, both addition and multiplication.    I look forward to seeing you on Flipgrid Tomorrow.

We are in the home stretch everyone!  I undestand that some of you have been feeling pressure and may be behind in the assignments.  I have been on Google Classroom at 1:30 for Peter Pan Book talks.

Today the Peter Pan Book talk will happen later 2:30-3:15 because I have a meeting at 1:00.  We will be working on last Friday's Assignment in Peter Pan today.  If you would like some help with better understanding what the chapter is about- make sure that you have listened to the chapter and are somewhat familiar with the assignment before logging on.  

We will listen to the story together and I will be stopping at different points in the chapter to ask questions to guide you to understand the objective.

Today is Friday, June 5th.  You have new assignments posted in Google Classroom.  Try your best with Peter Pan.  It help if you read or listen to a section of the chapter and jot down any questions you have or words that you don't understand.  Your focus today is to think about Wendy.  How did she change? You will have to listen to that chapter more than once.  I know that I had to listen more than once.

I have heard from students that are having a hard time with the slide assignments.  Thank you for speaking up!  So, I am setting up time with students on Google Meet to teach the objective.  I will be sharing my screen and breaking up the text.  Be prepared with paper and pencil to "stop and jot".   Since you are not in front of me, I don't know how you are doing unless you tell me.  Send me a message through Google Classroom or text me.

Please catch up on the Zearn lessons.  If you are not up to Lesson 15- Catch Up.  Some of you are attempting to do the exit ticket without doing the lesson.  Your success rate would be higher if you went to Zearn to do the lesson and activities.  I am keeping records of who is completing the assignments.  I'm surprised that some of you haven't yet turned in the Brazil Project.
