Mrs. Gianina Wechsler

I am a dual language Pre-K teacher at Uriah Hill Elementary School. This is my 3rd year working for the Peekskill City School District and my 15th year teaching Pre-K. My passion is early childhood education and I absolutely LOVE what I do! I previously taught Pre-K in New Rochelle and in the Bronx. I also taught in a Pre-K ICT setting for three years. Teaching is a very rewarding job as the children learn and show so much growth throughout the year. 

When I am not teaching I am spending time with my family. I have three children named Mark, Sasha, Sadie, and we recently got a puppy named Piper.

Hola! Soy la maestra de Pre-K en dos idiomas en la Escuela Primaria Uriah Hill. Este es mi 3 año trabajando para el Distrito Escolar de la Ciudad de Peekskill y mi 15 año enseñando Pre-K. ¡Mi pasión es la educación de la primera infancia y AMO absolutamente lo que hago! Anteriormente enseñé Pre-K en New Rochelle y en el Bronx. La enseñanza es un trabajo muy gratificante ya que los niños aprenden y muestran mucho crecimiento durante todo el año.

Cuando no esto enseño, paso tiempo con mi familia. Tengo tres hijos llamados Mark, Sasha, Sadie y recientement obtuvimos un cachorro llamado Piper.
