  • Saturday Academy Returns to PKMS on February 9

    You are invited to attend our Saturday Academy event on February 9 at Peekskill Middle School! The day begins with a free brunch at 10 a.m. There will be workshops, crafts, games and more! We hope to see you there! Additional Saturday Academy events will be held throughout the school year. Mark your calendars with the following 2019 dates: March 9 & 23, April 27 and May 11.

  • Parent Center Ribbon Cutting Set for Feb. 7 at Uriah Hill

    You are invited to join us at the ribbon cutting ceremony in celebration of the grand re-opening of the Lisa Rolleri Parent Resource Center on Feb. 7 at 7PM at Uriah Hill. Come see our renovated Parent Center, pick up a schedule of future events, meet workshop leaders and more! The evening will feature special guests from our My Brother's Keeper program. The PTO's general meeting will follow.

  • Pete the Cat Fosters Love of Reading in Ms. Stratigeas’ Class

    Uriah Hill students in Ms. Stratigeas’ classroom have a special class mascot helping to promote literacy and a love for reading at home – Pete the Cat! Each night a different child is allowed to take home their class “pet” along with a book. Students are encouraged to read and write about their adventures with Pete before returning him home to the classroom the next day. Thank you to our Uriah Hill families who have shared their own photos of Pete with us!

  • Thanksgiving Feast at Uriah Hill

    Our Uriah Hill family enjoyed a feast together as they celebrated Thanksgiving a few days early today! Mrs. Vargas and her staff, along with the help of family volunteers, served students turkey, mashed potatoes and cranberry sauce, which was specially prepared for the occasion by Food Service Director Mr. Andrew Wiesman and his staff.

  • Uriah Hill Culminates Hispanic Heritage Month with Dance Celebration

    Uriah Hill Elementary School students culminated their Hispanic Heritage Month celebrations by dancing in traditional clothing for friends, family and PCSD staff. Special guests at the celebration included the Peekskill Dance Fusion dance troupe and Peekskill High School student dancers. For more photos from this celebration, please click on the headline.
