Let's forget about Black Friday, and Cyber Monday, and focus on some
traditional current events that occur in December
December 21, 2019
Winter Solstice Day
The Winter Solstice marks the day with the shortest period of daylight and the longest night of the year (in the Northern Hemisphere), all thanks to the tilt of the earth. In many cultures, the day is a day of feasting and celebration. You can always find a reason to rejoice, because after today, you’ll see gradually shorter nights and longer days, which means you can look forward to the emergence of spring.
Hanukkah, a Jewish holiday, will begin at sunset on the evening of
Sunday, December 22nd.
December 25th,
a Wednesday, is when Christmas is celebrated in America and Mexico.
Thursday, December 26th, marks the beginning of
Kwanzaa, an African-American holiday.
