PHS Students Attend Educational Workshop at Seton Hall University
Members of Peekskill High School’s Today's Students, Tomorrow's Teachers program traveled to South Orange, NJ last Thursday to attend an educational workshop sponsored by Seton Hall University. Students learned about Seton Hall’s Education Department and the school's admissions process, and gathered financial aid information as well. While there, students also engaged in a discussion with a college professor about the power of teaching in today’s political climate. As part of the day's events, students were able to win prizes from Seton Hall’s anti-drug and alcohol awareness table. Following the trip, PHS students returned to school to share what they learned with their peers as part of Red Ribbon Week.
