Welcome students and parents! The school counselor has many different roles:

-Instruction of the Social-Emotional curriculum, Second Step, in all building classrooms. For more information on the Second Step Program, please visit the School Counseling Classroom Lessons tab on the left.

-Facilitation of planned and responsive short-term individual and group counseling based on student needs.

-Co-coordinator of the school-wide PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions in School) program. Please visit the PBIS-Character Education page listed under parent resources or click on https://www.peekskillcsd.org/Page/4041
