Hello. This year, 2017-2018, I teach Social Studies at both Peekskill High School and at Summit Academy, Peekskill High School's Alternative Learning Program. I teach Global History and Geography II at PHS for two periods, and at Summit, I teach Global I, Global II, and Psychology. In the spring, I'll teach Sociology.

Google Classrooms are set up for the courses listed above - all students should have received an email invitation to join, and can find class materials there.

I also support students who are enrolled in Edgenuity online courses.

Outside of Summit Academy I teach an upper-level elective through the PNW BOCES program, Online Courses for the Twenty-first Century, or OC 21. That course is Introduction to Anthropology. The course can also be taken for college credit from SUNY Albany at a very reasonable cost. You can see some of the work that the students have created by going here: www.oc21anthropology.com. Peekskill High School students are encouraged to take this!

Since most of my students will be taking the Global Regents in June, I will be posting review materials throughout the year. I also will be assigning Castle Learning online for homework, since it's so helpful for passing the Regents exams.

Have a great school year, and please contact me if I can be of any help to you. I am happy to meet with parents and students before and after school. I can meet with students at PHS from2p.m. My emails are aprentice@peekskillcsd.org, and aprentice@peekskillschools.org (both are checked often) and my cell phone is 845-598-0575.
