    Hi Friends,

I can’t believe today is the last day in March and the beginning of our third week of long distance learning.  I miss all of you and can’t wait to see you. I hope you have been working on your packet, if not, it is not too late and you have the rest of this week to complete it.  I am so proud that many of you have been on Raz-Kids and actively doing your part to stay sharp. I will continue to send messages and stars this week.

    Today’s joke:

What do you call a duck that gets all A’s?

            A wise quacker.

If you want to send me a joke to post, please do so.

Please take the time to say Our Self-Affirming Pledge every day.  I know many of you have it memorized, but just in case here it is.

    Our Self-Affirming Pledge

Today we start the day knowing that we are

all unique, special, talented, super smart,

    ready and able to learn

anything and everything we tackle in our classroom.

Have a beautiful, sparkly, simply the best day!

I really enjoyed hearing my readers voices so I will be reaching out to my students this week.  If you need anything, please contact me at trivera@peekskillschools.org.

    Sending positive vibes your way,

    Mrs. Rivera
