    The Purpose of LEAP

    To create comprehensive and high quality youth development programs that will provide after-school educational, therapeutic, recreational and cultural programs/services designed to improve the social, emotional and academic competencies of school aged children.  To create and institutionalize a school, family and community partnership model for improving student performance and reducing violence and substance abuse.  To connect community-based organizations, juvenile justice/law enforcement agencies, higher education institutions, and social, health and mental health service providers in Westchester County for the purpose of improving conditions and outcomes for children and families at-risk.
