Superintendent's Message
Summer Beckons
Once again the school doors are closed for summer. The delightful images, sounds and adventures that represent this very special season have arrived. Warm winds and warm rain showers make outdoor living quite enticing. The author Parker Palmer in his book, "Let Your Life Speak", characterizes summer "as the time when the promissory notes of autumn, winter and spring come due". He reminds us that "it is the one season where we give ourselves to the abiding and abundant grace of our common life." We earned summer!!!
This has been a very successful school year. I wish to take this opportunity to thank all the members of our Peekskill school community for a job well done on this journey to the Peak of Excellence.
